PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Beige Ajrakh Shorts combine plain-woven cotton with hand-blocked Ajrakh fabric patched together using Kantha embroidery. The straight-fit, pleated silhouette has an elasticated waist, with beige and brown tones highlighting the varied print and hand stitching.

THE CRAFT

Ajrakh block printing uses hand-stamped geometric and floral designs with natural dyes. Kantha joins layers of vintage saree fabric with hand-done running stitches, also known as Boro or sashiko.

WASH & CARE

Gently hand wash separately in cool water with a pH-neutral detergent, then air dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight, to preserve the richness of natural dyes. For maximum longevity, we also recommend dry cleaning.

A little character is normal. Natural dyes may have a slight scent and can release some colour when new. This is part of the nature of naturally dyed textiles.
