Upcycled cotton sarees patched in layers with hand-done Kantha embroidery and traditional ‘bandhani’ (tie-dye) detailing throughout. This is a one-of-a-kind jacket; no two pieces are alike. 

Craft-  1. Kantha is a centuries-old quilted embroidery that originated in Bangladesh. It is executed on layers of vintage sarees that are stitched together with hand-done running stitches. 

2. Bandhani is a type of tie-dye textile where fabric is pinched and tied with thread before it is dyed.
